New Student Library Orientation

Before Friday morning’s Opening Assembly, 116 new lowers, uppers, seniors and PGs visited The Class of 1945 Library to learn about the many library services and collections available to them as Exonians.  The library orientation event included a photo scavenger hunt, tours led by our librarians and student library proctors, and a very popular virtual prize wheel.

Whether they opted to complete the photo hunt or participate in a tour, students had the chance to meet library staff, learn about new services such as our text and chat reference help, and get more comfortable navigating the nine floors of our building.  Every new student that attended library orientation also received a USB flash drive with information about library services and a link to our Getting Started guide.  New preps will attend library orientation later this month with their English 110 classes.
