The kindergarten class from the Harris Family Children’s Center joined us again this year in celebrating Children’s Book Week. The class and their teachers, Ms. Christine Peluso and Ms. Kim Kosow, visited the Academy Library this past Friday for a tour and story time.
While they were here, they listened to the story Library Mouse by Daniel Kirk. Afterwards, the class colored the little mouse-sized books left to them by the library mouse. There was also opportunity for the kindergartners to explore the other books in our children’s literature collection.
