Just as we’re missing seeing our students at the Library, we’re also missing putting their published work on display in the Library Commons.
So, in our continuation of celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, we’d like to display one of our student publications here, The Phillips Exeter Asian magazine.
The most recent Roots issue is “the product of The Phillips Exeter Asian magazine and The Phillips Academy Andover Re-Model magazine’s first collaboration. Through prose, artwork and poetry, contributors share their understanding of the Asian Experience with gentle nods to familial ties and identity holistically.” As expressed by Co-Editor-in-Chief Benjamin Cai ’20, this collaboration between two peer boarding schools even more importantly “emphasizes unity, which is now more important than ever amid COVID-19.”
Thank you to Co-Editors-in-Chief Benjamin Cai ’20 and Ayush Noori ’20, club advisors Ms. Woo and Dr. Lee, and the rest of the team who contributed to this work and took the time to make it available to all of us in this beautiful website format.
We encourage you to sign up to receive updates about their upcoming COVID-19 and Empower issues.
