We love our library building and know many of you are fond of it too. So while we are closed for in-person services, we thought we’d provide a few reminders and updates regarding our hours and visitor policies. Since public visits to campus and our building are not possible at this time, we also thought we’d provide some online resources for those who would like to learn more about the library’s design and architect Louis Kahn.
COVID Visitor Policy
Due to our efforts to keep our campus and the surrounding community as safe as possible, the Library and all campus buildings and grounds continue to be closed to visitors until further notice.
General Visitor Policy
Under normal circumstances our general Library Visitor Policy allows for self-guided tours of the building during times when classes are not in session. As a working library serving current secondary students, faculty, and staff, it is important for visitors to contact the Library prior to coming to campus to ensure that these visits do not provide disruptions to classes and studies. Once we resume normal operations, please be sure to review our Library Hours page and view our Library Visitor Policy to plan your visit.
Building & Services Hours (Current PEA students, faculty and staff only)
- From now until mid-February the Library remains closed for in-person services. Currently renovation is underway for the Library’s new Center for Archives & Special Collections. We will provide an update on building hours and services prior to students return to campus.
- Information on library services during remote learning and teaching can be found here.
