The Library is excited to welcome new and returning students, faculty and staff to the Library for the fall term. Building hours are Monday – Friday 7:30am – 9:30pm, Saturday 9:00-4:00 (Class Saturdays 7:30-4:00), and Sunday 10:00am – 9:00pm. If you are unable to come in person, you can use our ASK US! service to reach us online via chat, text, and email.
Here is how the Library will operate during the fall term.
Building Access: The Library is a card access building. PEA community members will need to use their ID cards to access the building during our open hours. Outside visitors should review our Visitor Policy.
Borrowing Books & More: The book, dvd, and cd collections are open for browsing. Use the Library Catalog to help you search. Items can be checked out at the Library Service Desk or use our pickup service. Use My Library Account to renew books and check your account status.
Library Carrels & Study Spaces: All carrels in the Library will be available and assigned to day students. Boarders interested in carrels can asked to be put on our waiting list. All boarding and day students are welcome to study on all open floors of the Library.
Interlibrary Loan & Request for New Materials: To borrow materials from other libraries use our Interlibrary Loan Request form. Please use our Library Acquisitions Request form to recommend new materials for purchase.
Archives & Special Collections: For Archives & Special Collections questions or requests, please fill out the Archives & Special Collection request form.
Music Library: The Music Library (Room 109 in the Music Building) and adjacent Lab is open to the PEA community. Hours will be Monday 1:00-3:00pm and Tuesday – Friday 8:00am to 12:30pm. Patrons may browse the stacks and check sheet music out in person, but curbside pickup and scan/email services will still be available to students, faculty and staff throughout the term. For assistance, please email Music Librarian Drew Gatto at agatto@exeter.edu.
